Lynn Abrams
Founder & Owner
Lynn Abrams is the founder of Southeast Ohio Financial Services, and she pours her heart and soul into creating a business that works with the clients instead of for the clients. She has been a volunteer & contractor with the Small Business Development Center for over 20 years and specializes in small business counseling. She graduated with a double major in business and accounting from Zane State College, then went on to double major in business and accounting at Muskingum University where she interned with Phil Laube, CPA, Graham Law in Zanesville OH, and Daily Fence in Adamsville, OH. She was part of the inaugural MISST class at Muskingum University studying Information Systems, Strategy and technology. She has yet to turn in her final project, but it is on her bucket list. When she retires, Dawna McLear of MVP Accounting services will take over and become the new boss. Lynn is looking forward to when she no longer needs to be the boss herself.

Jennifer Carr
Administrative Assistant
Jenn is the bubbly personality you work with on the phone and at our front desk. She handles everything client related! She manages our schedules and keeps our office running efficiently with a focus on organization and ensures our clients feel welcomed and valued. She assists not only our clients but our absolutely amazing and hardworking team. An integral part of our team, Jenn is committed to providing friendly, professional support in our small town community.
Fun Fact:
Outside of the office, her family owns and operates a local beef farm! Along with raising cattle, they stay busy managing pastures where they grow and harvest hay. Raising her family on a farm in rural Ohio has been one of the greatest treasures for Jenn, who feels blessed in so many ways. Farming is a passion that is hard to put into words; it’s just in her blood! “Work is only hard when you can see no reason for it. I toil for you and me, for us, and it is pure joy…”

Dawna McLear

Elizabeth Schafer
Marketing & Event Coordinator
Elizabeth is a proud member of the Buckeye Trail High School Class of 2020. Any 2020 graduate can tell you that was a year with many challenges, but Elizabeth overcame them all. A year later she graduated from Zane State College with 2 Associates degrees; business and marketing. After moving around with her husband while he trained for and joined the military, she finally settled into the Southeast Ohio region. Here at SEOFS, she handles our marketing and events!
Fun Fact:
She is a very talented musician who can play multiple instruments. But her favorite is the Cello, and her skills have earned her a seat on the Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra for their final season.

Katie
Customer Liason
Katie is recognized as the “one who wears the hats” which is fitting for someone who wears multiple hats in our office. She is officially our customer liaison and takes on the stress of communicating with government agencies for you. If you receive a communication regarding taxes, she gathers documentation, puts it in order, and follows it through all of the bureaucratic red tape. The “terrors” persist, but so does she!
Fun Fact:
Personally, she lives a blessed life with her very best friends: a bearded husband (who loves trying new food nearly as much as she does and also cooks-score!) and her very sweet daughter who is always game to join in on her hair-brained schemes. She is an accomplished baker, earning her degree in culinary arts from Zane State College. She is a very adventurous spirit and takes every opportunity to travel the world, literally! When not traveling physically, she explores the world via books, devouring any reading material she can get her hands on, but particularly relishing historical fiction and the classics.

Mallory Ginn
Data Entry Specialist
Mallory is the most recent addition to our SEOFS family. She is our right hand woman, handling QuickBooks entry, receipt organizing and filing. While many might write off this as tedious or unimportant, business owners know that these tasks are often the heart of staying organized and efficient. Her efforts are appreciated every day by everyone here in the office as well as the clients we work with.
Fun Fact:
She is a dedicated homemaker and lifestyle creator who expertly blends traditional skills with modern family life. A wife and mother of three beautiful children, Mallory curates a sustainable household through her passions for quilting, gardening, canning and hunting.
